That grinding sound you hear is the churning of the impending Gears of War release date! Let’s have a little look-see into the bright and dark spots of the Gears of War 2 news and rumors…
Starting things off, we’ve got words from a lesser-known site that claims to know What Multiplayer feels like in Gears of War 2. Gameguru.in, as it’s known, has said (don’t blame us for the shoddy English): “There is no more sticking to walls, players can wall bounce but again it’s not as fast enough. They can also break out of their slide before going into cover, the party system very similar to Halo games made by Bungie.” And is a Halo comparison exactly bad? Besides, the devs have clearly shown they don’t just do things arbitrarily, so we’re not too worried about a few adjustments.
Let’s follow that with a brief piece entitled Gears of War 2 Spoilers (Sort of), written by Chris Buffa of GameDaily. He wrote: “What Microsoft doesn’t want you to know about its big, bad sequel.” Beside “spoilers” there are definitely some cool shots.
Lastly, we have to pass on some bad news: CliffyB - Gears of War 2 “definitely not” Coming to PC. N4G had this to say: “Gameplayer spoke with Gears of War 2 lead designer CliffyB today and unearthed the info that unlike the original, there is no way the sequel will come to PC. He also mentions its dismal PS3 potential.” Obviously, if your here, you’ve got a 360 already, so nothing really to worry about, although you might want to let your friends know that they can only get Gears of War 2 for xbox 360…
